Royal Canin Maxi Light (13kg)
For adult dogs who weight is 26 to 44 kg.
Castrated or sterilised large dogs and certain breeds like Labradors and Golden Retrievers, have lower energy requirements than the average large dog. They sometimes have a tendancy to put on weight. This excess weight can put certain risks on their good physical condition. A low-calorie diet is essential, but it must be appetising to be accepted by the dog.
Reduce the calories while preserving the muscle tone. To avoid excess weight gain a Maxi dog needs a low-calorie food that is rich in protein and yet very tasty. The dog can then lose weight while preserving its muscle mass and its appetite.
Make better use of the available energy. To lose weight correctly, a Maxi dog must stimulate the use of its fat reserves. By means of the L-carnitine that is present in MAXI Light, the fat reserves are more efficiently utilised.
